It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Walters of Roscoe, Illinois, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walters and Louise Walters; and his siblings, Marion and Bob. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ploenzke; his children, Scott Walters (Sarah) of Parkville, Lynn Stacks (Jeffrey) of Beloit and Gregg Walters of Beloit; his stepchildren, Dan Ploenzke (Patti) of Apple Valley, Linda Sandquist (Tom) of Rockford and Andrew Ploenzke (Lori) of Prophetstown, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Weiner, Margaret Foltz, Abigail Walters, Chris Ploenzke, Matt Ploenzke, Amy Sandquist-Pilcher, Kelly Hirsch, David Ploenzke, Diane Deter, Ross Zentner, Noah Zentner, Blake Stacks and Ryan Stacks. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
