He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samuel Buckner, Sr. and Catherine Ann (Traynor); and his brother James Samuel Buckner, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Buckner; his children, Michael, Jr. and Monica Tomaselli (Jeffrey); his granddaughters, Emma May and Gabriella Grace Tomaselli; his siblings, Marie Loomer (late William), Lee Sianez (late Michael) and Kathi Melone (Paul); and his sister-in-law Rosemary Provenzano (late John).
