He was predeceased by: his parent Harold Benhart; and his sibling Charles Benhart (Gail). He is survived by: his spouse Arlene; his children, Nathan Benhart, Timothy Benhart and Laura Benhart; his parent Gladys Benhart; and his siblings, Karen Dickenscheidt (Ken), Ruth Bargmann (late Robert) and Allen Benhart. He is also survived by many nephews and one niece.
