He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert and Annette; his brothers, Robert, James and Richard; and his pet Ritzy.

He is survived by: his brothers, John and Thomas (Lori); his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Christine, Angela, Joseph, Elizabeth, Tyler, Amy, Hayden and Hasty; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sean, Lily, Liam and Madeline; and his friends, Janice Hughes, Kelsey Hughes and Kaitlynn Sosa.
