He was predeceased by : his parents, Brinton Stahl and Anna Stahl (Perkins); his siblings, Charlotte, Suzy, Jane, Bill and Dick; and his stepbrother Richard.

He is survived by : his spouse Lila Marie Rudy; his son Britt Stahl of Bismarck, IL; his stepchildren, Denise Wilson of Sulphur, LA and Evan Pennington of Bloomington, IL; his grandchildren, Cory Fletcher (Sarah), Rebecca Wilson, Zachary Garmon, Sebastian Stahl and Lorenzo Stahl; and his great grandchildren, Kylee, Brandon Fletcher, Chase, Kaden and Trevon Moody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rossville American Legion 104 Thompson St., Rossville, IL 60963.
