We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2020, at the age of 90, Donald Eugene Vandervort (Rossville, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Vandervort and Margaret Vandervort (Hulet); his wife Phyllis Austin; his sisters, Ruth Cox (Bill) and Helen Misner (Tracy); his stepfather Ross Cronkhite; and also, Ross Cronkhite (Gertrude) and Russell Cronkhite (Ruth).
He is survived by : his daughters, Sharon York (Jim) of Rossville and Karen Skinner (Jim) of Danville; his grandchildren, Jamie York, Shaun York (Kourtney), Heather Cottingham (Tim), Lisa Miller (Jason) and Carrie Krause (Brodie); his great grandchildren, Bailey, Austin, Dalton, Sophia, Luka, Cameron (Jacklyn Rogers), Cierra (Matt), Morgan, Owen, Hayden, Lexie and Lilly; and his great great grandchildren, Ryder, Eli, Gray and Knox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
