He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Wallace Davis and Elizabeth Davis (Phillips); his spouse Jennie M Parsons; his children, Ronnie Veedersburg (Debbie) and Rose Staley (Eric) of Hoopeston, IL.; his grandchildren, Eric, Kyle, Alicia, Sean and Patrick; his great grandchildren, Jaxen, Madyx, Huxley and Kaylee; and his siblings, Vesta Brewer, Paul, Elmer and George.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Georgetown, IL.
