Mellender and Angeline Mellender (Fojtek); his wife Janel Ditgen; his children, Jeff Ditgen (Karen) and Michelle Haluzak (John); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Scott Jr. Ditgen (Jordan), Steven Ditgen, Samantha Ditgen and Alec Haluzak; his great grandchild Connor Ditgen; his brothers, Thomas Mellender (late Vicki), James Mellender and Christopher Mellender (Jill); and his nephews, Christopher Mellender (Dawn) and Joshua Mellender.
