He is survived by: his children, Tyler Rickert and Alyssa Rickert; his parents, John Rickert (Sue) and Eileen Kainu (Mark); his siblings, Matt Rickert (Joy), Liz Johnson (Scott), Steve Rickert, Christy Jacobs (Derek) and Tammi Rickert; and his grandmother Esther Rickert.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in John's name to Feed My Starving Children or The Special Olympics.
