It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clement Edmund Lilly of Saint Elmo, Illinois, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Elizabeth Lilly (Rhodes); his wife Gerneda Mae "Peewee" Lilly (Rogers); his daughter Mary Beth Lilly; his parent Dotson Baine Lilly, Sr.; and his siblings, Dotson Baine Lilly Jr., Rollin Vaughn Lilly, Ruth Ellen Sage (Lilly), Garnet Lucille Lilly and Helen Joy Broadwater (Lilly).
He is survived by: his children, Andrew Carl Lilly (Pam), Marsha Kay Wright (Steve) and Karla Sue Lilly; his grandchildren, Andrea Hagler (Dusty), Erin Lilly, Seth Lilly, Trevor Wright (Tara), Trent Wright (Rexann), Travis Wright (Danielle), Sarah Schmid (Chris), Trey Wright (Hailey), Rachel Bullard (Dylan), April Beker (Chad) and Amanda Miller (Tom); his great grandchildren, Alexziah Hagler, Hadley Hagler, Payton Ostrander, Natalie Hoopingarner, Corey Hoopingarner, Jayce Lilly, Hayes Lilly, Emmalyn Wright, Ethyn Wright, Tristan Wright, Tanor Pemberton, MaryLinn Wright, Brylie Schmid, Beau Schmid, Andi Schmid, Coyd Wright, Wrenley Wright, Calvin Bullard, Jack Bullard, Dylan Meadows, Clay Miller and Nathan Miller; and his great great grandchild Oaklyn Ostrander.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kaskaskia Church (1825 E 2700 Ave, Beecher City, IL 62414). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may go to Spring Hill Cemetery or the donor's choice.
