He was predeceased by : his parents, Benjamin Chaney and Josephine Chaney; and his children, Robert Chaney and Lynn Chaney. He is survived by : his wife Carol J. Chaney (Wiley); his children, Cindy Breitbach (Allen) of Muskego, WI, Carla Goeckner (Pete) of Teutopolis, Sherry Everett (Larry) of Altamont, William Chaney of Myer Creek, OR, Roger Chaney of Rock Island, Charles Duckworth (Tracy) of St. Elmo, Damon Duckworth (Theresa) and Todd Chaney of St. Elmo; his sister Katherine Holcomb of Morris; and his friend Gary Spiker of Effingham. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
