With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eugene U. Kinkelaar of Saint Libory, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Leo (Margaret); his son-in-law Joshua Marks; his sister Marie Triefenbach; his in-laws, Albert and Eleanor Kozuszek; his brother-in-law Leroy Stein; and his great-nephew Mitchell Stein.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Betsy Marks and Scott Kinkelaar (Monde); his grandchildren, Leo, Emily Marks, Mayuulu, Stanislaus, Gladys and Dorothy Kinkelaar; his brother Andrew Kinkelaar (Marivic); and his sister-in-law Bernadine Stein. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Liborius Catholic Church (911 Sparta St, St Libory, IL 62282). A Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
