It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Goldie Ruth Purdue of Salem, Illinois, born in Chenoa, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elza Stanford and Rosa Jane Stanford (Heflin); her husband Harvey M. Purdue; and her children, Randy Purdue, Donald Purdue, Gary Purdue, Russ Purdue and Donna Skees.
She is survived by : her children, Phil Purdue (Jackie) of Plano, Dale Purdue of Salem, Mike Purdue of Kissimmee, Rodger Purdue (Goldie) of Arizona, Linda Helm (Kenneth) of Iuka, Bonnie Wimberly (Darrell) of Salem, Rebecca Basham of Nashville and Ginger Purdue of Salem. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
For those in attendance, masks and social distancing will be observed and with a limited amount of people entering the Funeral Home at one time.
