Lawson of Salem, Illinois, born in Xenia, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Eakins and Jennie Eakins (Staudenmaier); her husband Delbert T. Lawson; and her siblings, Virgil Eakins, Victor Eakins, Dora Fisher and Louise Wolfe.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Lawson (Janet) of Collinsville, IL and Janet Butts (Calvin) of Maryville, IL; her grandsons, Dennis (Cathryn Butts), David (Shelley Butts), Daniel Butts and Chad (Emily Lawson); her great grandchildren, Kerissa Burge (Billy), Zaccary Butts (Jessica Carroll), Dennis Butts, Cayden Butts, Nick Dalton and Tim Dalton; and her great great grandchildren, Payton, Hunter, Trenton, Owen, Maddie, Austin and Ava.

It is important to wear a mask if you feel it necessary and to respect social distancing.
