He was predeceased by: his child Jaime Puente (Nola); and his parents, Paulina Puente and Francisco Puente. He is survived by: his wife Sofia C. Puente; his daughter Cynthia Garcia (Daniel); his grandchildren, Michelle Weeks (Jason), Adrian Puente, Neicy O'Malley (Charlie), Cory Matczak, David Garcia (late Leslie), Daniel Garcia (Justine), Jacob Garcia and Aaron Garcia; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Desmond, Sophia, Elijah, Myah, Emma Grace, Emily, Gwen, Owen and Mila; and his sister Juanita Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the All Souls Catholic Parish (3010 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A burial will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Homewood Memorial Gardens (600 Ridge Rd, Homewood, IL 60430).
