He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alejandro Gonzales and Julita Gonzales (Nagar); his spouse Nobuko Gonzales (Uechi); his children, Caroline Gonzales, Paula Schmidling (Christian), Linda Skurnak (Michael) and Rumiko Miyahira (Mamoru); his grandchildren, Theresa Hunter (Rob), Kaitlin, Nicolette, Ryan, Hiroki and Naoki; and his siblings, Remedios Aguto (late Antonio), Rosie Weaver (Martin), Corazon Cruz and Elena Piscitiello.
