It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dwight Brooks (Shawneetown, Illinois), born in Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 41, on May 27, 2020. He was predeceased by : his brother Justin "Rudy" Brooks. He is survived by : his parent David Brooks (Lori) of Shawneetown; and his sister Holly Brooks McVey (Vicki). He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins and many friends.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be done at the Hogan Cemetery south of Shawneetown, where he will be laid to rest next to his brother.

Memorial contributions in Dwight's memory can be made to the Hogan Cemetery.
