With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan L. (Drake) Oldham (Shawneetown, Illinois), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan L. (Drake) Oldham to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Drake and Pansie Agnes Drake (Moore); her husband Clarence I. Oldham; and her siblings, Everett, Bertis, Max Drake, Iva Carrigan, Margaret Lynch and Iris Smock.

She is survived by : her son Lou Oldham of Shawneetown; her grandchildren, Christy Scherrer (Scott), Joel Oldham of Shawneetown, Robbie, Bryan and Emily Hyatt of Indianapolis, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Hank Oldham (Kelsea) of Shawneetown, Meghan of Shawneetown, Gracie Oldham of Shawneetown and Hunter Scherrer of Shawneetown; her great great grandchild Joseph Gentry Oldham of Shawneetown; and her sisters, Norma Johnson of Sun Lakes and Kathryn Gill of Encinitas, California.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Donations in Joanie's memory may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois or the Shawneetown First Presbyterian Church.
