With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly J. Spencer of Shelbyville, Illinois, born in Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester Parton and Delphia Parton; her husband Lloyd Spencer; her sister Lillian Storey; and her niece Angela Dee Storey.

She is survived by : her daughter Beth Ann Spencer of Decatur, IL; and her brother-in-law Gail Spencer (Barbara) of Mulkeytown, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville.
