He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Parr and Beverly Marcella Reifsteck (Jackson); his sisters, Marcia Smith and Brenda Matheny; and his brothers-in-law, Lawrence Smith and Michael Matheny.

He is survived by: his daughters, Erin Hennings (Rob) of Shelbyville, IL and Chelsi Kastl (Ross) of Shelbyville, IL; his stepdaughter Angie Durbin of Shelbyville, IL; his sisters, Rosemary Smith of Sullivan, IL and Sara Helton (Robert) of Shelbyville, IL; his grandchildren, Kendi Dove, Weston Dove, Alexis Kastl, Skylar Kastl, Nichole Logue, Meliah Hennings and Makenna Durbin; and his great grandchild Gracie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Howe and Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mound Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Camp New Hope on Lake Mattoon, and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 North Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
