She was predeceased by : her parents, Lonnie Joseph and Verla L. Murkin (Brown); and her brothers, Leroy, Gary and Bob Murkin.
She is survived by : her daughter Sherry Wilhelm of Decatur; her grandchildren, Chris McCoy of Decatur, Tyler Wilhelm of Decatur and Tammy Keefer (Kris) of Warrensburg; her great grandchild Cameron Keefer of Warrensburg; and her sisters, Virginia Buescher of Decatur, Bonnie Carlson of Litchfield, Shelby Girrulat of Pana, Sue Bendorf (Dwayne) of Mattoon, Marilyn Carroll of Mason City and Rhonda Harbaugh (Terry) of Pesotum. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals in Shelby County.
