Leta F. Bruckner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leta F. Bruckner of Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nita Wade and Orrie Wade (Ruff); her husband Clarence August Bruckner; her daughter-in-law Dana Fox; her grandsons, Douglas, Daniel Fox, Jeffrey Orin, Jordan Fox and Daniel Bruns; and her siblings, Ruby, Geneva, Jean, John, Velma and Don.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Orin (John), Stephen Fox (Toni), Douglas Fox (Jessica), Stuart Fox (Janie) and Jamie Hankins (Brett). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Howe and Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Glenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Food Pantry at the First United Methodist Church both in Shelbyville.
