It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Lucille Holthaus of Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Weeks and Mildred Weeks (Barringer); her husband Carl Holthaus; and her siblings, Roger Weeks and Rose Ellen McPeek.

She is survived by : her sons, Brian Keith Holthaus of Assumption, IL and Kenneth Joseph Holthaus of Pana, IL; her stepson Billie Jo Holthaus of Pana, IL; her brother Eldon Weeks (Cheryl) of Assumption, IL; and her sister-in-law Janis Herbord of Assumption, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Knobs Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Gideons International, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the donor's choice.
