The memory of James Allen Wiese of Sheridan, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wiese and Birdie Bell Wiese (Dickinson); his wife Joyce L. Johnson; and his siblings, Wayne, Lynn, Nina and Lois.
He is survived by: his daughters, Roni, Tamara and Marla; his grandchildren, Brandy, Britney, Rebecca, Rachel, Morgan and Jared; and his siblings, David and Carol.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sheridan American Legion (300 E Si Johnson Ave, Sheridan, IL 60551).
In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family encourages you to "buy a drink for Jim" in support of the local American Legion - a place that meant so much to him.
