She was predeceased by: her parents, Cuba Garrow and Britton; her husband Dan D. Bernard; her son Dan Bernard Jr.; and her brothers, Delbert and Gene.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Mahumed (Michael) of Cortland, IL and Barry Bernard (Patricia) of Leland, IL; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Bernard of Somonauk, IL; her grandchildren, Dan M. Bernard, Megan Bernard, Ben Bernard, Katie Bernard, Andrew Mahumed, Katie Mahumed and Kayley Mahumed; and her brother Jim Garrow of Serena, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Leland Fire Department, or the charity of one's choice.
