With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vickie J. Gardiner of Sherman, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2021 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles E. DeLong and Joan DeLong (Pilcher); and her son Raymond M. Gardiner. She is survived by : her husband Robert "Bob" J. Gardiner; her son Robert "BJ" Gardiner (Kari) of Sherman; her grandchildren, Natalie and Braidyn Gardiner of Sherman; her siblings, Patricia "Pat" DeLong of Springfield, Michael DeLong (Debbie) of Palm Harbor, FL and Dino DeLong (Dianna) of Chatham; her father-in-law Robert Gardiner (Donna) of Sherman; and her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Ervin (Dan) of Sherman and Kathryn Rafferty (Dan) of La Vergne, TN.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
