Allen D. Sheehan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2025, at the age of 87, Allen D. Sheehan of Shorewood, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Amelia (Hahne) and Leo Edward Sheehan; and his siblings, Col. Leo Sheehan, Jr. (late Renate) and Janet Olson (late Richard). He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughters, Laura Klebenow (Dan), Maureen Sheehan and Kathleen Wodzianski (Peter); his grandchildren, Molly Mendez (Jesus), William Klebenow (Julianne), James Klebenow, Margaret Heise (Foster), Mary Beth Krasowski (Marian), David Manganiello (Andrea), Maddie Blanton (Skyler), Meagan Russo (James), Tommy Keenan and Reilly Keenan; and his great grandchildren, Meah, Ronan, Lucia, Ophelia, Ford, Maisie, Penny, Zion, Faith, Cadi, Willow, Sadie, Autumn and Blanton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (600 Brook Forest Ave, Shorewood, IL 60404).
