It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Fran Kohlbrecher of Shorewood, Illinois, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Philbert Margraf and Mary Margraf (Morgan); and her siblings, Maureen Kocks, Robert Margraf, Patricia Mordenti and Jerome Margraf.

She is survived by : her spouse Laverne Kohlbrecher; her children, John Kohlbrecher (Geraldine) and Janet Krakar (Patrick); her grandchildren, Ethan and Elliot Krakar; her brother Edward Margraf; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Kranz (Michael) and Jerome Kohlbrecher (Rynthia). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Fran's name can be made to the Church of St. Jude.
