It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Zamet-Veverka of Skokie, Illinois, who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin; and also Neil. She is survived by: her children, Mindi (Jack), Glenn (Alison) and Jason (Kristie); her brother Norman (Lindsay); and her grandchildren, Heather, Daniel (Stephanie), Kyle, Eric, Hope, Quinn and Zara.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue, P.O. Box 297, Kent City, MI 49330 (midwestbtrescue.org).
