She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clanton and Elsie Clanton (Sidwell); her husband John David Elam; and her son Henry Ervene Elam. She is survived by: her children, John Eugene Elam of Smithboro, Herbert Elam of Greenville, Pamela Elam of Greenville and Mona Miller of Vandalia. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
