He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Thomas of Springerton, IL; his children, Rickey Lee (Gayle Thomas) of McLeansboro, IL and Rhonda Leah (Scott France) of McLeansboro, IL; his grandchildren, Rickie Diane (Brad Martin), James Nathan "Jamy" (Nata Thomas) and Jenny Ward; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Kendal Martin, Malayna, Sadie Smothermon, Ryah Lee, Eva Thomas, Hunter Newman and Ryder Williams; his great great grandchildren, Raelyn Fox, Liam Smothermon and Tripp Lee Thomas; and his brothers, Larry (Ruth Thomas) of McLeansboro, IL. and Vernice Ray "Bud" (Dorothy Sue Thomas) of McLeansboro, IL..
