She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Gladys Kirkbride (Horwedel). She is survived by: her son Todd Kennedy (Bonnie) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Chad Kennedy and Kristen Kennedy; her brother Charles Kirkbride of Vermont, Illinois; her niece Cheryl Kirkbride; and her great-nephew Jade Dunlavey.

Memorial contributions may be made to the 1st United Methodist Church in Havana, Mason District Hospital or Laureate Zeta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
