She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Froetscher and Elsa Froetscher; her husband Richard H. Thom; and her brother Leroy Froetscher. She is survived by: her children, Richard Thom (Karen) of Jefferson City, MO and Kathy Handy (John Fisherkeller) of Springfield, IL; her grandchildren, Jenny Hester (Jeff) of Oklahoma City, OK, Alena Thom of Castro Valley, CA, Jim Handy (Allison) of Bainbridge Island, WA, Chris Handy (Minran) of The Netherlands and Matt Handy (Zuelmi Maradiaga Hernandez) of Nicaragua; and her niece Paulette Lynn (Jim) of Dubuque, IA.. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
