She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayborn Peoples and Elizabeth Peoples; her siblings, Sonny, Jim Peoples and Celilee Sheared; her son Ronald "Shot" Smiley; and her grandchildren, Eugene Coleman, Syven Rogers and Mariah Rogers.
She is survived by: her husband Albert J. Smiley; her siblings, Ora Phipps, Dora Jones and Lemuel Peoples; her daughter-in-law Evie Smiley (Ronald); her siblings-in-law, Ella B., Dorothy, Rosie Smiley and Jimmie Smiley; her grandchildren, Rhonda, Alan Smiley, Lichelle Rogers-Smiley, Timothy Rogers, Michael Phillips and Tracy Williams; and her great grandchildren, Asilaj, Nation Rogers, Nyla, Karly, Rhianna Williams and Tamya Rogers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
