He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Aylward and Philip Aylward; his son Connor; and his nephew Jarett Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Shawn Aylward (Christa), Megan Kircher, Brandon Aylward (Nichole) and Mason Aylward (Hailey); his son-in-law Paul Kircher; his grandchildren, Lucas, Jacob Aylward, Sydney, Rylee and Parker Kircher; his sister Karen Rodgers (Jimmy); and his nephew Jeremy Rodgers (Jackie).
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (1930 Barberry Dr, Springfield, IL 62704). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Christ the King Parish Center (1930 Barberry Dr, Springfield, IL 62704).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Glen's memory to The Autism Program of Illinois (TAP) Service Network, reflecting his unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of children with developmental and behavioral challenges, or to Animal Protective League for his heartfelt affection for companion pets.
