It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. McCloughan of Springfield, Illinois, born in Cornland, Illinois, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John F. Freed and Mable Freed (Goad); her husband Robert McCloughan; her son Mark McCloughan; and her brother Harold Freed.

She is survived by : her children, Debbie Birdsell (Bill) of Springfield, Christy Miller of Billings, MT and Tom McCloughan (Lisa) of Riverton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to West Side Christian Church.
