James Reuther Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Reuther of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James Walter Reuther; and his granddaughter Rylee Grace Quinn. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Reuther of Springfield; his sister Barb Reuther (Lee) of Springfield; his uncle Thomas Woodrome of Springfield; his children, James "Tony" Reuther (Sara) of Divernon, Jennifer Reuther-Barrett (Daniel) of Virden, Danielle Bailey (Levi) of Nokomis and Jon Reuther (Destiny Stuttle) of Virden; and his grandchildren, Aubrey Reuther, Ryan Quinn, Lauren Reuther, Lane Bailey, Lynnia Barrett, Nolen Laubscher, Mason Longwell and Beau Stuttle.

The family suggests memorials be directed to the Charcot Marie Tooth Association (CMTA).
