Ronan of Springfield, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John K. Ronan and Anna M. Beykirch Ronan; his wife Virginia "Virgie" Wierciak; his son Michael Ronan; and his great grandchild Emilia Badman.
He is survived by : his children, Tom Ronan (Kelley) of Effingham, John J. Ronan, Jr. of Carrollton, TX and Jan Vallar-Gillette (Michael) of Chatham; his grandchildren, Jason, Jen, Joe, Alexis, Brittany, Russ and Zach; and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Jack, Lyla, Brooks, Mayson, Anthony, Tylar, Ethan and Layla.
Illinois COVID-19 guidelines will be followed, requiring face coverings and limiting attendance to 180 guests at one time.
