He was predeceased by: his father Louis Merril Douglas, Sr.; and his sister Mary Talkington. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Mae Stokes Douglas of Caseyville, IL; his children, Robyn Maye (John) of Valrico, FL, Brandi Green (Maurice) of Key West, FL and John Taylor of Kentucky; his grandchild Breanna Douglas; his close friend Pat Taylor of Springfield; and his brothers, Richard "Gene" Douglas (Lorie) of Benton, IL and Michael Douglas (Dee).
