With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia L Groth of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Durkin and Valada Durkin; her husband Francis C. Groth Jr.; her son Michael T. Groth; and her sisters, Genevieve Followell and Phyllis Tinsley (Fred Tinsley).
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Reese (Chris) of Mississippi, Francis C. Groth III of Springfield, William J. Groth of Springfield, Rodney Groth (Kelly) of Rochester and Troy Groth (Krisinda) of Springfield; and her siblings, James Durkin (Doris) of Springfield and Helen Renfrow (Todd) of Springfield. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
