He was predeceased by: his parents, August Nika and Anna Nika (Ciesler); his wife Judy Tuxhorn; his son Paul Nika, Jr.; and his siblings, Leona Tertel, Anna Nika and Fred Nika.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Lynn Funk (Randy) of Arkansas and Constance Sue Ward (Todd) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Samantha Nicole and Jacob Wayne Ward; and his siblings, Helen Branham (Merle) of Springfield, Lois Cory (Gene) of Rochester, Bob Nika (Gloria) of Springfield and Jack Nika (Ann) of Chatham. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
