We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Elaine Galyon of Springfield, Illinois, born in Taylorville, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence "Ray" Smith and Verda Smith (Swift); her husband Harry "Glen" Galyon; her daughter Leigh Ann Smith; and her sisters, Eloise Patterson, Raberta Neathery, Louise Ketchum, Mary May, Edna Alonzo and Arlone Hogan.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Edward H. Smith; and her brother Lawrence "Larry" Ray Smith, Jr. (Sue) of Naples, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
