It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Gilchrese of Springfield, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Gilchrese and Charles Gilchrese; her close friend Artis Brown; and her siblings, Sheila Martin, Mary Ann Williams, Nancy McCulley and Randy Gilchrese.
She is survived by: her sons, Troy E. Powers (Shawna) of Springfield and Travis L. Gilchrese (Tammy) of Springfield; her siblings, Charles Gilchrese of Springfield, Ronnie Gilchrese (Sheila) of Alton, Mark Gilchrese (Linda) of Springfield, Vincent Gilchrese of Springfield, Charlotte Gilchrese of Chicago, Rosalee Gilchrese of Springfield, Margaret Rawls of Springfield, Priscilla Gilchrese of Springfield and Sandra Gilchrese of Springfield; her grandchildren, Troy Powers, Jr., James Powers and Dajere Coulter; and her niece Britney Gilchrese. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus grandchildren and friends.
