With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Babbs (Stanford, Illinois), born in Towanda, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2011 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Isaac Walker and Sella Prows Walker; her husband Donald Babbs March; and her son Michael Babbs. She is survived by : her children, Carol S. Smith (Howard) of Bloomington, Janet M. Anderson (Donald) of Fisher, Debra J. May of Fisher and James A. Babbs of Stanford; and her siblings, Marion Ridgeway of Bloomington and Isaac Walker Jr. (Linda) of Tennessee. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.
