She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Gaede and Lola Travers Gaede; her children, Becky and David; and her siblings, Joan, Herman and Gene.

She is survived by : her spouse Vernie D. Dean; her children, Barbara Holland (Robert) of McLean, Lori Smith (Tim) of Danvers, Gary Dean of Normal, Jeff Dean of Queen Creek, AZ and Greg Dean (Melissa) of Fairbury; her grandchildren, Josh, Kristi, Buck, Brandy, Becky, T. J., Laci, Taylor, Shelby, Zachry, Aimee, Jacob, Brooke and Kaitlin; and her great grandchildren, Rylie, Lola, Evan, Dylan, Oliver, Jayden and Ellie.
