He is survived by: his wife Elaine Knop of Steeleville; his children, Gail L. Knop of Steeleville, Cherie K. Barbre of Carmi, IL, Leslie J. Duvall of Steeleville and David D. Knop of Steeleville; his daughter-in-law Melissa Davitz of Chester; his grandchildren, Emily Duvall, Ty, Sloane Barbre, Jonathan Alden and Carter Davitz; his stepsisters, Evelyn McVicar of San Antonio, TX and Barbara Ellner of Chester; and his brother-in-law Glenwood Degenhardt of Percy.
Memorials may be given to Leukemia/Lymphoma Society or St. Mark's Lutheran School or St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
