He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Beggs, and Florence Beggs, Sr. (Anderson); and his wife Patricia M. Dale. He is survived by: his children, Dewey R. Beggs (Penny) of Rock Falls, Candy Baker (Albert) of Sterling and Lewis Beggs III (Karen) of Sterling; his siblings, Lucy Rice of Coleta, Peggy Bezwick (Donald) of Morrison and Timothy McEvoy (Sonja) of Rock Falls; his grandchildren, Andrew Beggs, Patricia Manning, Dominic Koester, Thomas Beggs and Ashley Mulryan; his stepgrandchildren, Nathan Disher, Kurt Disher and Kayla Gamester; and his grandson Bryan Thomas. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
