He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Dent and Irene Dent Sr. (Bacon); his wife Carolyn K. Weers; his grandson Kyle Dent; and his sisters, Charlotte Fairall, Ellen Fields, Ruth McAllister and Betty Scott.
He is survived by: his sons, Harry W. Dent III (Sue) of Roscoe and Todd A. Dent of Buda; and his grandchildren, Coen and Harry W. Dent IV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
