Robert Cipalo Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Cipalo of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Cipalo and Anna Cipalo (Boza); his son Michael; and his siblings, Michael Cipalo, Florence Botte (late Andrew) and Virginia Minneci (late John).
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Renner of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Jane Cavanaugh (David) of Streator, IL, Charles Cipalo (Sheila) of Morris, IL and Lori Secrist (Gabe) of Williamsfield, IL; his grandson Duncan Secrist; his sister Gert Stansbury (late John) of Streator, IL; and his sister-in-law Lois Cipalo (late Michael) of Dubuque, IA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (509 E Broadway St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery (1541 E 16th Rd, Streator, IL 61364).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veterans' Home in LaSalle, IL.
