He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Emel and Charlotte Emel. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Emel (Carlyle); his children, Brad Emel (Fayanne) of Sullivan and Sarah Melvin (Dave) of Sullivan; his grandchildren, Cora, Lena Emel, Amelia, Harper and Clyde Melvin; and his sisters, Cheryl Wildman (Richard) of Sullivan and Jennifer Stoltz (Mark) of Inverness, FL. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In honor of Gary the family has kindly requested that everyone wear a mask to attend the reception.
